Much has been written about the Cooper family--Matt, Clay, Elliott and Gloria. But what about Matt's lifelong friend and L.A.P.D. cop, Dan Hollister? I've decided to create a backstory for Dan, going back to the 1940s where it all began with Matt. The story covers the 1940s through 1980 and some of Dan's stories have him running into his pal, Matt Cooper. Nice little tie-in, if I do say so myself.

...all the hallmarks of a fine classic crime novella! I had grabbed a bunch of these Cooper Collection books a year ago and spent many a morning, coffee in hand, starting the day with a spirited read. As I mentioned in an excerpt from my review for 'Gone With the Window' - "...tale immediately settled in to the action and humor I expected of these works from the author, Bill Bernico such that I've come to thoroughly enjoy each and every episode to date. I'm glad I have a stash of these on my kindle and recommend the same of everybody!" With other fun titles like "Room for One Less" , "Gentlemen Prefer Bombs" , and "Jack the Stripper" why not grab yourself a few, as author is generous enough to post some for free on occasion, and get to know this wily protagonist in an engaging mystery that you'll rip through in less than an hour. Very good series and, as before, I do recommend (I wouldn't be surprised if I owned them all before it's all said and done)!Product details

I was introduced out of sync but really enjoyed the theme so I am looking forward to more of this series .The author has talent and is great at drawing you in..Good job !
We've all seen them on the road the Lance Armstrong wanna-be all decked out on their high end bike and latest team kit. Well take that guy and have him misunderstand a warning a driver was offering him and end the end the cyclist gets what he deserved. Don't think I'm anti-cyclist as I'm not. My husband and I are avid cyclists though when cars approach from behind we do ride single file instead of side-by-side.
